On Friday 14th December 2018 , the Provincial Grand Master, Brother James C. Peddie, attended The Bridgeton & Glasgow Shamrock & Thistle Lodge No. 275 to unveil their new plaque which commemorates the brethren of the Lodge who made the untimate sacrifice during World War One and World War Two.
He was accompanied by Brother William C. Shepherdson, Past Provincial Grand Master, Brother Andrew Mushet, Depute Provincial Grand Master and Brother Richard Anderson, Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.
The deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow was enhanced by the presence of two Past Provincial Grand Masters from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Renfrewshire East, Brother John Miller and Brother Frank Johnstone.
The Provincial Grand Master was warmly welcomed into the Lodge by the Master, Brother John Hutcheson, and unveiled the plaque which commemorates the eleven Brethren of the Lodge who died in the World Wars.
