Good evening Bretheren,

I am a member of the Endeavour Lodge in Queensland Australia and a Lewis.

I am researching my family tree and it has indicated that the parent of my 3rd Great Grandmother Jane BLAIR’s father is listed on her marriage certificate as being William J BLAIR, a Stonemason born approximately 1811 of Glasgow. Research indicates that his wife was possibly a Jane MCDONALD born 1819

It’s a long shot, but I wonder if he was a Freemason?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Fraternal regards from Australia.
