Lodge The Glasgow Star No219 

                             Lodge The Glasgow Star No219  hosted a visit from The Caledonian Railway Lodge No354 on Monday 24th July. The master bro Keith Hodgson welcomed the deputation from 354, headed by their master, bro Derek Shankland.
               A deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge were also in attendance. DPGM Andrew Mushet, supported by SPGM Jim McMillan, SPGM William Newlands, PSPGW John F Laing and Director of Music Robert Kennedy were received and welcomed by the master.
               An exemplification of the FC degree by No354 was witnessed by all 98 brethren who had attended and it confirms that the appetite for these meetings, during the traditional “summer recess” is growing. DPGM Andrew Mushet congratulated the team on a very accomplished degree and expressed his delight at another summer meeting being so well attended.
               After the degree, the master made a presentation of a cheque to Bro John Monteith PM No1561, for his on-going charity fund raising for PDRU (physically disabled rehabilitation unit) at the Southern General Hospital.
               An enjoyable harmony was had thereafter.
